Privacy Policy

Effective September 23, 2026

Who we are

New Smile Guide is an educational platform that helps people make informed decisions about dental implants and, when they ask, connects them with implant providers. This policy explains what information we collect, why, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to newsmileguide.com and the services offered on it.

Information you give us

When you take a course, request the $500 certificate, ask to be matched with a specialist, or contact us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email, phone number, ZIP or city, and the treatment details you choose to share (for example, that you are interested in full-arch or single-tooth implants). You decide what to share; some features simply will not work without the basics needed to deliver them.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we collect limited technical and usage data automatically: pages visited, links clicked, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and referring source. We use cookies and similar technologies for this. See "Cookies and analytics" below.

Cookies and analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics — including Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity — to understand which guides help people and where the site can improve. These tools set cookies and may record aggregated, de-identified interaction data. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; core educational content will still work. We honor Global Privacy Control and "Do Not Track" signals where technically supported.

How we use your information

To deliver our free courses and the $500 certificate; to connect you with a participating specialist in your area when you ask us to; to respond to your questions; to send you information you requested (and, only with your consent, occasional updates); to keep the platform secure; and to improve our educational content. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your health-related interests to serve you third-party ads.

Sharing with specialists

When you choose to be matched, we share only the details needed to arrange your consultation — typically your name, contact information, location, and the treatment interest you told us about — with the participating specialist for your area. Specialists are independent practices that are responsible for their own privacy and record-keeping once they receive your information. We share your details with a provider only when you ask us to connect you.

Service providers we rely on

We use trusted vendors to run the platform — for example, hosting and database infrastructure, email delivery, and the analytics tools named above. They may process your information only to provide services to us, under contracts that limit their use of it. We do not permit them to use your information for their own purposes.

How long we keep your information

We keep the information you provide for as long as needed to deliver the service you requested and to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations — and then we delete or de-identify it. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to retain it.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and encryption in transit, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continually to protect your data and to limit who can access it.

Your privacy rights

You may request access to, a copy of, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of non-essential communications, at any time by contacting us. Depending on where you live (for example, California and other U.S. states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and the right to opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" — note that we do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

A note on health information

New Smile Guide is an education and matching service, not your dental provider, and this website is not a place to send medical records. The clinical care you receive from a specialist is covered by that practice’s own privacy notice and, where applicable, HIPAA. Please do not submit detailed health records to us through the site.

Children’s privacy

New Smile Guide is intended for adults making treatment decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date below and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
